80 High School of Beijing was founded in 1956. It is
the only distinguished high school in the Chaoyang
District, and is considered a model school for all of
Beijing. We currently have more than 2600 junior- and
senior-high school students. Since the school’s
inception, the advanced ideals, outstanding faculty, and
modern facilities have made our school the ideal
starting point for those who seek the best in higher
education. For the years 1999 through 2002, the
highest-ranking scholar of the college entrance
examinations for all of China came from our school – a
high honor and a tribute to our mission of excellence!!
Our school is divided into two
campuses. The junior high school is
located in Baijiazhuang within the third eastern loop,
where the embassy and CBD district are located. It has
been nicknamed the “garden-like school” due to its
impressive landscaping and facilities.
Our new high school is located at
the center of the Wangjing Business Park, and is a
modern campus costing more than three hundred million
RMB. It covers 0.094 square kilometers (141.6 mus) and
the campus has its own facilities for classrooms,
science and technology, art,
 gymnasium, pool,
astronomical observatory, dining hall, dormitories, off
ices, and playground. Its advanced education and living
establishments come second to none in the educational
circles of China, and the beautiful modern campus has
become a cultural landscape in Wangjing.
