80 High School of Beijing¡¯s impressive success can be
attributed to our emphasis on academics, discipline, and
an outstanding and dedicated faculty which include such
famous teachers as Ning Hongbin for Special Education
and Fan Shujuan, who won the country¡¯s Exemplary teacher
award.
Today,
the school has 12 teachers of special classification, 15
teachers with a Doctors or Masters degree, and 4 foreign
t eachers
on the staff. Our unique faculty selection criteria
seeks out a track record of achievement in their chosen
field, outstanding leadership and communication skills,
versatility, enthusiasm, and a solid history of teaching
excellence.
The
school holds to the educational ideals of having a
strong foundation, large canvas of knowledge,
encouraging discipline and conformity, and, most
important, having original ideas. Through multi- disciplinary
programs and a democratic research atmosphere, the
school combines the essence of the oriental and
occidental education worlds, and provides students with
